Stop Loss Bundled Sales Director

Location: This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate must live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations listed on the requisition.

The Stop Loss Bundled Sales Director is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with external clients and prospects, and targeted producer partners through the use of strong consultative skills.

How will you make an impact:

  • Execute strategic sales and tactical plans on Stop Loss Bundled products by consulting with key decision makers and operational stakeholders in key states which include external producers, and Senior Leadership.

  • Provide ongoing support to regional Leadership (Plan Presidents) decision makers and support field sales team during RFP processes.

  • Interact directly with producer Stop loss Centers of Excellence. Assist in the development of strategic producer relationships and recommendations for increased retentions, sales, and revenue opportunities.

  • Partners with leadership and develops key programs which allow for growth and retention goals to be met.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 5 years of related Stop Loss experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Sales license and appointment required upon hire or is required to be obtained and appointed within thirty (30) days of hire.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Strongly prefer program management and strategy experience.

  • Proven medical health insurance plans, broker sales, and retention experience most notably in stop loss bundled sales is highly preferred.

  • Experience and knowledge of Employer Stop Loss System his highly preferred.

  • Experience in building strong internal and external relationships with key teams/stakeholders preferred.

  • Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive level stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making.

  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, MS Teams and Salesforce strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $142,128 to $243,648
