Elevance Health Learning Program Manager in NORFOLK, Virginia

Location: Within 50 miles of any Elevance Health Pulse Point location

Shift: Monday – Friday; 1st shift hours

The Learning Program Manager is an individual contributor on the CXO L&D Team and will operate in a highly fungible role responsible for direct engagement, support, leadership, and relationship management of supported lines of business. Operating in a central role they will intake, analyze, recommend, resource and lead L&D learning solutions, business initiatives and programs. This highly fungible role is necessary to ensure L&D collaborates deeply and proactively with interdependent cross functional partners; HR, IT, QA, and business leadership to determine L&D program goals, budget, timeline, resources, and implementation approach. Facilitates a simplified intake process and ushers work through governance checkpoints. Acts as central POC for business partner with accountability for anticipating/meeting/exceeding learning needs. Within L&D serves as coordinator and leader of work from intake through completion. Drives consistency and coordination with Carelon Global and Vendor partners. Serves as a coach or mentor to whoever upskills learning associates within their specified group.

There are 3 Learning Program Manager positions available for this team:

  • One of the positions will support Hollie McKitrick , working across all CXO supported lines of business (Commercial, Government, Member, Provider, Claims, Enrollment and Billing, and Grievance and Appeals)

  • One of the positions will support Leila Allam , working across Commercial Member including National, Local Large Group, and Individual Small Group.

  • One of the positions will support Stacy Serad , working across Commercial Provider, UM Intake, Claims, Enrollment and Billing, and Grievance and Appeals.

How you will make an impact:

  • Conducts needs analysis and evaluates effectiveness of learning solutions.

  • Leads Learning & Development initiatives involving multiple associates.

  • Oversees and manages enterprise-wide programs that support the company's business strategies and objectives.

  • Partners with HR and business leadership to determine program goals, budget, timeline, resources, and implementation approach.

  • Tracks and reports on project milestones.

  • Manages program implementation and ensures appropriate documentation is maintained.

  • Develops policies and practices to support programs.

  • Determines if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete the project plan and recruits and manages appropriate vendor resources.

  • Consults with HR and enterprise-wide leadership to coordinate and manage the implementation of learning and organizational effectiveness programs and initiatives.

  • Applies human performance improvement principles to improve business performance.

  • May conduct training or develop instructional or reference content as necessary to ensure timely and accurate implementation of programs.

  • Develops working relationships with internal and external team members.

  • Understands enterprise-wide goals and objectives, key decision makers, and business unit processes and key drivers of performance.

  • Provides cross-functional support in the development of enterprise-wide solutions.

  • Serves as a coach or mentor for other learning consultants and learning associates across Learning & Development when partnering on projects/initiatives.

  • Practices change management methodology to successfully implement programs across the enterprise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS degree in organizational development, business, education, instructional design, or other learning discipline and a minimum of 8 years of experience, including a minimum of 7 years of project management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:

  • Advanced degree or professional learning and development certification preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $94,960.00 to $156,684
