Elevance Health Facilitated Enrollment Representative Senior in Staten Island, New York
Location: This is a field position, and the territory for this position is Staten Island or Brooklyn South.
The Facilitated Enrollment Representative Senior is responsible for providing education to potential members on the Affordable Care Act and the marketplace, Facilitating new enrollments, and developing enrollment expansion opportunities to drive growth.
How you will make an impact:
Provides assistance to the community in understanding the marketplace and the insurance programs it offers.
Provides individuals and small businesses with assistance in completing enrollment applications.
Educates potential members on the tools available to help narrow their plan options.
Assists individuals in comparing and contrasting the benefits costs and the quality ratings of different plans.
Assists assigned Community Based Organizations and specific providers with presenting product information to constituents.
Develops and maintains strong relationships with providers in order to identify and initiate new enrollment opportunities to achieve growth initiatives.
Develops enrollment strategies with Community Relations and owns product presentation and enrollment initiatives within the territory.
Monitors and tracks enrollment and referral performance of CBOs and in-network community provider panels.
May support related projects aligned to growth initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a HS diploma and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Required training and authorization for FEs within 30 days of hire is required.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Prior healthcare experience preferred.
Excellent customer service, problem solving, and communication and interpersonal skills strongly preferred.
Understanding of Salesforce, Excel and PowerPoint strongly preferred.
Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
New York State of Health certification (NYSOH) is preferred.
Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $28.02/hr to $42.03/hr.
